Chasson Randle back with New York Knicks

Randle played three preseason games for NY, averaging 7.7 points and shooting 55.6 from 3-point range but was cut on October 21 after the 6-foot-2 point guard suffered a broken orbital bone around his left eye.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the New York Knicks and point guard Brandon Jennings have made a decision to part ways.

According to The Vertical, the Wizards will release a player before Thursday to clear roster spot for Jennings. Brandon Jennings will be a suitable backup for John Wall given his offensive skills. Teams still can claim Jennings off waivers until 5 p.m. EST today, but if no one does, as expected, the guard will join his 6th team in his National Basketball Association career and look to re-start in Washington, DC.

Washington is Jennings' fifth team in seven-plus seasons in the league. The team recently defeated the Golden State Warriors, showcasing its offensive efficiency along the way. Brandon Jennings, a proven scorer, can provide that much-needed firepower coming off the bench.
