Scarlett Johansson Releases Statement on Romain Dauriac Divorce

Scarlett Johansson filed to divorce Romain Dauriac. her husband of just over 2 years.

Johansson's attorney Judith Poller served the papers to Dauriac's attorney Hal Mayerson. And it seems now that there will be a nasty battle between the estranged couple over custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac.

Mayerson emphasized to Page Six, "Ms. Johansson does a lot of traveling..."

"It will be an interesting process", he said of the unfolding divorce drama, declining to comment further.

Johansson, 32, and Dauriac, a journalist, married in 2014, shortly after their daughter was born.

In February Johansson told Playboy magazine that she doesn't think it is "natural to be a monogamous person" and that while marriage is "very romantic" it is also "a responsibility and that it "changes things". He plans to move to France with Rose, his lawyer told the court, reports The New York Post.
