The European Union (EU) will take only 48 hours in issuing its first plan for the negotiations for Brexit after the United Kingdom formally starts its exit, European Council President Donald Tusk said on Wednesday.

Pressed on whether two years was realistic for a trade deal, May said: "The process which is article 50 sets out is for the withdrawal but also setting the framework for a future relationship, which actually should take the two years".
