Kim Jong Nam's son may have fled to Netherlands

Kim Jong Nam's son may have fled to Netherlands

Malaysia has indicted two females suspects, one Vietnamese and one Indonesian, with murder as the police believed the two smeared a lethal chemical weapon called VX nerve agent on the face of Kim Jong Nam, which killed him within 15 to 20 minutes.

A video clip has since appeared showing Jong Nam's son Kim Han Sol identifying himself and speaking in English.

Taiwanese government sources have said there is no record of Kim Han Sol or his family entering the country, but did not rule out the possibility they may have passed through the country's main airport while in transit.

During the 40-second video, the man said his father was killed a few days ago. "I am now with my mother and my sister".

Amusing that, all who have good will towards Korea's people were hoping in 2012 that Han Sol's young uncle - who had also benefitted from a very privileged education in the West - would follow just such a path.

Malaysia is still waiting for DNA samples from his next of kin to formally verify the dead man's identity, but say no family member has made contact yet.

Experts hope an ad hoc tribunal on North Korea may be set up someday, as China would be expected to veto any move in the U.N. Security Council to refer its ally to the ICC.

At another point, he told the young woman that " sex and pain sometimes go together ... that's not necessarily a bad thing". Justice Robin Camp said in a statement released by his lawyer that he would resign effective from Friday.

When Kim Han Sol opened his passport to show it to the camera, that part of the screen was blacked out, likewise his mouth and the sound is muted as he thanks his benefactors and rescuers for arranging his sanctuary with that of his mother and sister.

"It's right to determine they are the same person", said Lee Cheul-houng, head of the Transcription Analysis Laboratory. "This will be the first and last statement on this particular matter, and the present whereabouts of this family will not be addressed". The video was posted on the YouTube channel of Cheollima Civil Defence, which describes itself as a group helping North Korean defectors.

South Korea's Unification Ministry said it had no knowledge of the Cheollima group.

North Korea's surprise order came Tuesday morning, when the official Korean Central News Agency said the country was banning Malaysians from leaving "until the safety of the diplomats and citizens of (North Korea) in Malaysia is fully guaranteed through the fair settlement of the case".
