Brandon Carr signing a 1-year deal with series of options to make it a 4-year, $24M deal w/ Ravens, per source. He played four years in Kansas City before signing with Dallas.

Of the signing, general manager Ozzie Newsome said, "This is a good football player".

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the deal is in total worth $24 million. The contract is likely to wrap up at two years, $12 million, per Schefter. Likely a 2-year, $12M deal. Carr will replace Shareece Wright at the void at cornerback across the field from Jimmy Smith. Most recently, he spent five years with the Cowboys, where he recorded 61 tackles, nine passes rushed and one interception.
