Basketball: Big game for Steven Adams in Thunder win

Adams was voted OKC's player of the match, coming away with 16 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block for his 14th double-double of the season.

With the win, the Thunder move into fifth place in the Western conference with a 40-29 record.

Georgios Papagiannis led the Kings with 14 points and 11 boards, Skal Labissiere added 13 points and Buddy Hield had 11 as the Kings dropped to 27-42.

Doug McDermott played the role of offensive running mate for Westbrook, with an impressive 21 points on 4-for-5 from the three-point line.

Sacramento could not get its offense rolling. The Kings closed the deficit to 14 in the fourth quarter but they never got any closer as the Thunder coasted to victory. This brought Westbrook back onto the court to close out the game.
