Animal Adventure Park, the upstate NY zoo live-streaming the giraffe's world famous pregnancy, said in its Friday morning Facebook update that "all observations, behavior and predictions suggest a calf today or tonight".

They noted that they "we would be shocked to get through the weekend without our newest addition".

In Animal Adventure's morning update this morning, Patch wrote that the veterinarian, Dr. Tim, was called this morning.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been tuning into the live Animal Adventure Park giraffe cam in anticipation of the birth, which should be coming relatively soon.

"Mammary development photos were not captured, but udders reported as full", said her keepers on Facebook.

Much like long breaks between seasons of your favorite show or with long-running government operations, speculation and theories often have time to percolate.

The moment thousands waited for is final here: April the pregnant giraffe is going to give birth. Good Morning America even has a live stream up and running.
