It's time for the studio to celebrate, because Beauty and the Beast has officially crossed the $1 billion mark at the box office.

"Beauty and the Beast" is directed by Bill Condon and is starred by well-known actors including Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci.

On Monday, Piper Jaffray released its semi-annual survey of United States teens, and Disney ruled the list of most anticipated films in that key demographic. It is also the highest grossing live-action musical of all time.

In celebration of the monumental achievement, Disney has also released a special video commemoration highlighting several press stops from the film's worldwide tour.

The studio's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, released in December 2016, was the previous film to join the billion-dollar club, giving Disney four titles past year to accomplish that feat.
