The unicorn Frappuccino is real, and it's coming to Starbucks this week

The company says the drink is available for a limited time while supplies last, from April 19 to April 23, 2017, in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Here's everything you need to know about the insane colorful Unicorn Frappuccino you can get at Starbucks! Topped with vanilla whipped cream, the Frappucino looks, and apparently tastes, magical. The drink is said to first sweet and fruity, but if you stir it, ts color changes to pink and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart.

The unicorn trend is *everywhere* right now, so when we saw rumblings on social media yesterday that a new unicorn-themed Starbucks Frappuccino might be coming out, we were pretty psyched.

Social media has been abuzz with rumors of a new Starbucks drink for a while, and now, those rumors have been confirmed.

Unlike the mythical unicorn, this drink is actually real. The flavor part might not seem that impressive - a caramel macchiato tastes like espresso until you stir it, after all - but Starbucks claims that the color changes from purple and blue to solid pink, which anyone who's ever mixed paint will tell you is impossible. Grown-up tasters assumed, based on the colors, that it was raspberry-flavored.

Starbucks announced the eye-searing frappuccino on Tuesday.

Starbucks promises that the drink will have the opposite effect of a Sour Patch Kid.

Starbucks has released an official image, but when it comes to mass-produced Starbucks drinks, the reality often diverges from the ideal, Instagram-ready image.
