All the President's predators: Trump and O'Reilly lead the pack

O'Reilly, who recently caught flack for his racist and sexist remarks about Waters' hair, is now fielding deserved scrutiny and criticism after a New York Times report surfaced a number of sexual and verbal harassment suits women have filed against O'Reilly and Fox News. O'Reilly has denied wrongdoing and said he supported the settlements so his family wouldn't be hurt.

"The O'Reilly Factor" has been a leader for Fox News since it was launched in 1996. Instead of a jaunt into the historical deaths of famous white men, this one celebrates the traditionalism of "old school" folks, which is being threatened by "snowflakes".

In July 2016, the network's former boss Roger Ailes resigned in the wake of his own sexual harassment controversy.

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly may be losing advertisers amid his recently uncovered sexual harassment scandals, but viewers don't seem to be phased.

O'Reilly is not the first employee to be plagued with sexual harassment claims.

"Personally, I think he shouldn't have settled", Mr. Trump said in an interview in the Oval Office with New York Times reporters.

GlaxoSmithKline said it had "temporarily put a hold" on ads on O'Reilly's show while it reviews the situation.

So, no, I don't expect Fox News or Rupert Murdoch, who controls FNC's parent company, to do the right thing here - unless it's in their self-interest.

When President Donald Trump declared April Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, people were understandably bewildered and infuriated.

Host Joe Scarborough said those comments showed Trump was completely unprepared, and he blamed both the president and his staff.

"It's coming out of the mouth of someone who has said some bad things about women", Waters said. The New York Times has reported that five women were paid $13 million to settle allegations O'Reilly mistreated them.

The world already knew about the claims filed by former Fox News hosts Juliet Huddy and Andrea Tantaros, but the other three plaintiffs - former Fox Business Network host Rebecca Diamond, former O'Reilly junior producer Rachel Witlieb Bernstein and ex-anchor Laurie Dhue - came as a surprise. O'Reilly hasn't admitted any wrongdoing.

O'Reilly apologized last week for a glib remark about Waters' hair.

The Wonderful Co., the company behind Fiji bottled water, Wonderful Pistachios and POM pomegranate juice, says it will no longer advertise on the show.
