Commemorating Earth Day, HTC Vive has unveiled new projects from three creators with visions for how VR can address the UN's set of defined goals for the planet, such as "Climate Action" and "Zero Hunger". Thanks to its full room scale 360-degree solution you can physically walk around in the room to explore the virtual space from all angles. The VR headset will be available via Amazon, pre-orders for which starts from April 22. These apps can be downloaded from HTC's proprietary app store called Viveport. From there, users will be able to choose VR-based apps across a number of different genres, including education, design, art, social, video, music, sports, health, fashion, travel, news, shopping, creativity tools and more. It also provides a 3.5 mm jack for headphones.The screen runs with 90Hz.It is featured with a front camera which experiences the real scenarios effect to the costumers with virtual ones. This, according to the company is the first complete VR system to be available in India and the device will be going for pre-order from April 22nd on Amazon India.

HTC Vive and Facebook's Oculus Rift are two leading VR experience products retailed globally, and are finding increasing space for usage across various formats such as gaming, business applications and other digital experiences. The Taiwanese company is also reportedly setting up "in-store experience centers" in many cities around the nation to allow would-be customers to experience immersive virtual reality before they fork out the cash.
